
Extra! Extra! MPAC has great shows coming in May. Headlined by our spring production of Newsies (May 30-June 1), there’s a great variety of shows for everyone from little kids to classical music fans. Highlights include HMS Pinafore, Howie Mandel, and MPAC’s Sustainability Series.

Brit Floyd: Wish You Were Here: 50th Anniversary

Brit Floyd returns with their biggest and most spectacular production to date, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s classic album Wish You Were Here and other classic hits, complete with a stunning laser and light show, iconic circular screen, inflatables and theatrics.

Mattias Klum: The Planet in Our Hands

Comedian Vic DiBitetto churns energy, honesty and humanity into nonstop laughter. He’s been called a cross between Rodney Dangerfield and Ralph Kramden. The bottom line is, DiBitetto leaves his audiences breathless with laughter.
Cat Kid Comic Club: The Musical

This madcap musical based on Dav Pilkey’s (Captain Underpants, Dogman) irreverently hilarious book series finds Cat Kid and Molly Pollywog starting an epic club to teach 21 rambunctious baby frogs how to make their own comics, flipping out their fishy father Flippy in the process!

Howie Mandel has remained a constant force in show business for more than 40 years, and has been fixture as a long-time judge on NBC’s flagship series America’s Got Talent. Mandel returns for another off-the-cuff, anything-goes evening of laughs. Language, Mature content. Adults only.

Based on the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899, this musical tells the story of Jack Kelly, a rebellious newsboy who dreams of a life as an artist away from the big city. After publishing giant Joseph Pulitzer raises newspaper prices at the newsboys’ expense, Kelly and his fellow newsies take action as all of New York City soon recognizes the power of “the little man.”
