How Do I Get To The Theatre?

Our address is 100 South Street, Morristown, NJ 07960.

We are located in the heart of downtown Morristown, across the street from the Morristown library.

MPAC is a short walk (0.4 miles) from the Morristown New Jersey Transit Rail Station via Pine Street.

Where Should I Park For My Show?

We offer pre-paid parking MPAC-operated parking lots at the Presbyterian Church and Verizon building are available exclusively for our patrons.

Please note: MPAC does not own these lots, and therefore not every lot is available for every performance.

Reserved parking can be purchased online at this link, and is typically available 1-2 weeks prior to the start of the month.

Shuttle Service is available from the Verizon Lot for select performances. Refer to the online Preshow Planner for specific details.

Do You Sell Concessions?

Concessions are available to purchase in the main lobby and balcony lobby bars. Options include beer, wine, liquor and soda, along with snacks.

No other outside food is allowed; leftover restaurant food and wine cannot be stored at the venue.

What Do I Do If I Lost My Tickets?

The Box Office can reprint your tickets provided you can verify that you have purchased them. You may also access your tickets at any time via the MPAC app.

Can I Get A Refund If I Can't Attend?

All Ticket sales are final; no refunds or exchanges. Artists, programs, dates, and prices are subject to change.

Optional Booking Protect refund protection coverage is available for purchase.

If you are unable to attend an event, you may donate your tickets to MPAC as a tax-deductible contribution prior to the show.

**MPAC Members and Season Ticket Holders (5 performances or more purchased in the current season) can exchange their tickets for any reason and receive an Account Credit to be used towards a future performance. (Exchanges must be made at least 48 hours prior to the start of a performance. Returns are for the face value of the ticket only. Service fees are non-refundable).

What If I Am Late To The Show?

Late seating can be disruptive to the performer and to the audience. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the artist and the Mayo Performing Arts Center staff. Patrons arriving late for a performance may be required to stand outside the Hall or sit in a pre-designated area of the theatre until intermission or until an appropriate break allows seating without disruption to the performance.

What Items Are Prohibited?

If you have any questions in regard to what can or cannot be brought into the Theatre, please contact MPAC.

MPAC has the right to inspect any bags brought into the building.

The following items are not allowed inside Mayo Performing Arts Center:

– Weapons of any kind or type

– Knives or blades of any kind or type

– Flares or Fireworks

– Pepper spray or mace

– Full facial coverings (such as masks)

– Outside food and beverage*

–  Illegal drugs & outside alcohol or opened bottles of water or soda

– Cigarettes, vaping devices and other tobacco materials such as pipes and pipe tobacco, cigars and chewing tobacco

– Professional photography equipment

– Audio and video recording devices

– Selfie sticks

– Items with offensive writing or images

– Posters and signs

– Noisemaking devices (Ex. air horns)

– Laser pointers

– Any animal with the exception of a service animal

– Any other item deemed inappropriate or dangerous by MPAC staff

*An exception will be made for medical needs after proper inspection.

Can I Photograph Or Record The Show?

Cameras and other recording devices are strictly prohibited and may be removed by the Theatre at its discretion.

Please silence cell phones prior to entering the Theatre, and turn off your screen as the light can be very distracting to other patrons.

What Happens In Inclement Weather?

If a performance goes on even though the weather is poor, the Mayo Performing Arts Center is not required to provide a refund. If a performance is canceled, refunds or exchanges into other performances will be offered. The Theatre will make every effort to notify you in case of a cancellation. Please be certain we have your most current email address on file.

What If I Have Accessibility Needs?

The Mayo Performing Arts Center is dedicated to ensuring that all of our patrons are able to enjoy the arts equally. If you have accessibility needs, questions, or concerns, please contact MPAC in advance of the performance you wish to attend and we will assist you in the best manner we have available.

The theatre is accessible by ramps and curb cut-ins. The Main Lobby is all one level, and barrier-free. The balcony is also accessible via elevator to the second floor. If you need special seating arrangements, please advise our box office representatives at the time of purchase.

Assisted listening devices are available upon request. Large print programs are available with advance notice.

Yes! Earplugs are available at the concession stand for anyone who may need them.

What Are Some On Site Amenities Offered to Patrons?

Mobile App
Download MPAC’s new mobile app to present your mobile tickets, read the digital program book and more . Available on iOS or Android devices.

Complimentary WiFi
Free WiFi service is available at the theatre. Look for the “MPAC Public WiFi” network when you arrive at the theatre.

Balcony Amenities
Our balcony lobby features additional bars and restrooms, as well as our Art Upstairs gallery. The balcony level can be accessed via stairs, or by the elevator located near Door 4.

Family Amenities
Changing tables are available in all restrooms, and booster seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis for many performances.

What Are Your Health and Safety Precautions?

When it comes to public safety, MPAC is taking precautions seriously.

The health and well-being of our patrons, members, performers, students, volunteers and staff is paramount. We work to keep our facility a clean and safe environment. MPAC uses a 100% fresh air ventilation system in our auditorium.  That means we are constantly pulling in air from outside when heating and cooling our building. Face coverings are optional.

What Type of Ventilation and Facility Updates Have Been Made?

MPAC uses a 100% fresh air ventilation system in our auditorium.  That means we are constantly pulling in air from outside when heating and cooling our building.  Our air is not recirculated, making for a safer environment when sitting in the Theatre for an event. In the lobby and the box office, we’ve installed state of the art UV filters to kill germs and bacteria. Our theatre is cleaned constantly on show days, and seats are sanitized on a regular basis.
