We have a Loop System Mat in place at the accessible counter in the MPAC Box Office. A person with hearing loss can step on the mat and be heard and our associate can speak to them through a microphone for better assistance.A hearing loop helps people with hearing loss to hear conversations more easily. It works when a person’s hearing aid, cochlear implant or loop listener is switched to the hearing loop setting. Sound is transmitted wirelessly directly to the hearing device.
MPAC is committed to ensuring a great theatre experience for all of our patrons. If you would like additional information, have questions, or need assistance or an accommodation not mentioned above, please call Lee Kaloidis, Accessibility Services Coordinator at (973) 539 0345 Ext. 6587 or email lee@mayoarts.org.
