Code of Conduct

MPAC is where our community comes together to enjoy the performing arts.  We welcome everyone to our venue and acknowledge every patron may experience a performance in a different way. It is our goal to make sure that all MPAC attendees share in a joyful experience.  We ask that you follow these same principles and respect your fellow patrons.

Below is MPAC’s Code of Conduct that we request of our staff, volunteers, performers and patrons follow:

MPAC patrons, performers, and MPAC’s professional staff and volunteers will treat each other with courtesy and respect.

Disruptive behavior including but not limited to: yelling toward the stage (unless prompted by the artist), speaking loudly at your seats, tossing objects toward the stage, arguing with other patrons, blocking patrons views with electronic devices, being under the influence, or behaving in a manner that is unbecoming, will not be tolerated

Patrons shall abide by the event rules in regard to electronic devices.

Phone calls on mobile devices should be conducted in the lobby or on the MPAC plaza, not in the auditorium during a concert.

Acceptance and accessibility in our workforce, volunteers, programming and patrons is one of MPAC’s important guiding principles. Any form of discrimination or bias based on race, nationality, age,  religion, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or ability status is not acceptable, and any person determined to have engaged in such behavior will be asked not to attend or to leave

MPAC patrons acknowledge that individuals with specific needs have the same right to enjoy events as everyone else

MPAC has the right to request any person who does not follow the code of conduct and venue rules to leave the theatre without a refund.
