To purchase Booking Protect, simply select this option during the checkout process. The cost is calculated automatically based on a percentage of your ticket order total.
Your coverage begins the moment you complete your purchase! You have up to 14 days after your purchase to refund Booking Protect if you change your mind. After this point, Booking Protect is non-refundable under any circumstances (even if a show is cancelled) so please review the full terms and conditions and the FAQ below.

How much does refund protection cost?
Booking Protect refund protection is automatically calculated based on your ticket order total. The cost is 7% of your total order.

How are refunds processed and issued?
Patrons may submit a claim directly to Booking Protect’s in-house customer service team via this link, up to 45 days after the event. Documentation or proof of circumstances will be required.
Refunds will be issued via direct deposit to your bank. You will need to provide these banking details to Booking Protect through their secure portal.
Can I add Booking Protect to my tickets later?
No, Booking Protect coverage must be selected during the purchase process.
What if I change my mind about Booking Protect coverage?
You will have a 14-day window after your ticket purchase to refund this protection, if you decide you no longer need or want it.
If my show is cancelled, will I receive a refund for my Booking Protect coverage?
No. When your ticket order is refunded by MPAC because of a performance cancellation or rescheduled event, the amount paid for Booking Protect on that order is not. Your refund will include the face value of the ticket plus MPAC service fees only. Your Booking Protect fee has covered you from the moment you completed your initial order.
Does Booking Protect cover me for Covid-19?
Covid-19 is included under illness protection, if the patron or a dependent receives a confirmed positive through a doctor or a laboratory-confirmed test and is required to isolate per current guidelines. Home rapid tests will not be accepted.
What is not covered by Booking Protect?
Changes of plans are not covered, including travel or social/personal engagements (i.e. weddings or school events). For more complete details on the covered reasons, please view the terms and conditions.

If a show is cancelled or rescheduled, MPAC will continue to offer refunds or account credits.
What is MPAC’s return policy?
All MPAC ticket sales are final, with no refunds or exchanges, unless you are a member or season ticket holder.
How does Booking Protect coverage differ from MPAC’s member exchange benefit?
MPAC membership benefits include free and flexible exchanges for account credits, up to 48 hours in advance of the show, for any reason.
Booking Protect is an optional additional cost, and will refund patrons through the show date and up to 45 days after the show, for covered reasons.
Can I use my MPAC account credit to pay for Booking Protect?
No, Booking Protect coverage cannot be purchased with an MPAC account credit. However, you can purchase tickets with an account credit and still add Booking Protect to your order through another form of payment.
Do I need Booking Protect for pre-paid parking?
Refund Protection is not needed for Parking reservations. If your plans should change, please call the box office to request a parking refund.
