Mike Breen

Veteran NBA play-caller Mike Breen is the lead voice for the NBA on ESPN and ABC, including the NBA Finals and NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC. Breen has called the NBA’s premiere event a record-setting 21 times through the 2025-2026 season.

Breen is also the lead play-by-play announcer for New York Knicks telecasts on MSG Network alongside courtside partner, Knicks legend Walt “Clyde” Frazier. The duo first started calling Knicks games together on the radio in 1991 and have been part of MSG Network’s telecasts since 1998.

Breen has done NFL play-by-play for NBC and FOX and covered the WNBA at NBC, as well as men’s and women’s basketball at the 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008 Olympics.

Breen won the Sports Emmy for Outstanding Personality/Play-by-Play in 2022, 2023, and 2024. He was honored with the Sports Play-by-Play Award and Governors’ Award at the 2nd Annual New York Sports Emmy Awards in 2024. Breen is also the recipient of the 2020 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Curt Gowdy Media Award. In 1998, the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association named Breen “Broadcaster of the Year” in his native state of New York.

A Fordham University graduate, Breen began his career in radio at WEOK/WPDH in Poughkeepsie, New York. He worked in local radio and television in the New York area, including WNBC-AM, SportsChannel, MSG and, most prominently, on Imus in the Morning on WFAN-AM and simulcast on MSNBC.

Mike resides on Long Island with his family.

Walt “Clyde” Frazier

Legendary New York City sports icon, Walt “Clyde” Frazier can be seen and heard at every New York Knicks game weighing in with solid sports commentary and well-seasoned talking points. Known to younger basketball generation as “the voice of the Knicks”, Walt Frazier dishes out his trademark rhymes and wows them courtside with his fashionable styles, blending colors, textures and patterns into a mesh of cool retro and today’s latest trends.

Walt Frazier added another dimension to his already colorful career in April of 2012, when he partnered with Michael Weinstein of Ark Restaurants, Corp and opened Clyde Frazier’s Wine & Dine in NYC on 10th Ave and 37th street, a celebration of the unique style of Clyde Frazier.

Frazier’s likeness can now also be seen on “The Ride of Fame” double-decker, open-top tour bus riding around NYC with sightseers every day.

Drafted to the NY Knicks in 1967 and their first-round pick, Walt Frazier is one of the most decorated players in the history of the game. Inducted into the basketball Hall Of Fame in 1987, he also holds membership distinction in the Top 50 Players in NBA History and is a seven-time, NBA All-Star.

The star basketball player shows no signs of slowing down. Walt Frazier’s career has been a paradigm of diversity. With his sports commentary, for 10 years he was seen in frequently-aired television commercials touting “Just for Men”. He has endorsed the PUMA sneaker brand since the ‘70s and participates in many motivational speaking engagements.

Walt Frazier also founded The Walt Frazier Foundation in 1985 with a mission to help children, through mentoring programs and education. The organization provides internships to help youngsters get off to a good start in their chosen professions. Walt Frazier has a solid commitment to sharing his expertise with young, future basketball players at his summer camp.

Currently, he is at work on his 8th book, which focuses on health and fitness and is a testimony to how he lives his life — eating healthy, exercising regularly and practicing yoga. Walt Frazier was a spokesman for the NBA’s “Dribble to Stop Diabetes”, a national campaign encouraging fans to be active, make healthy lifestyle choices, and to learn more about diabetes prevention and management. He was a spokesman for Healthfirst’s healthy living campaign, going to schools and communities promoting better choices with eating. He divides his time between NY and St. Croix where he owns a main house and is a professional realtor with units for short and long term rentals on VRBO and Airbnb.
