The Mayo Performing Arts Center regrets to announce that the Sunday, July 17th performance by Generation Radio has been cancelled. The MPAC Box Office will provide refunds and account credits.

Background:
From Rock & Roll to the broken roads, the journey that led them to become… Generation Radio.

Made up of musical legends – two-time Grammy Award winning Jay Demarcus of Rascal Flatts, former lead vocalist and bass player of the multi-platinum band Chicago for over 30 years, Jason Scheff, and Steve Ferrone, drummer of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers are joined by Chris Rodriguez and Tom Yankton.

In the beginning of 2020, the band got together with the intent to form a supergroup with a purpose – to bring 80’s rock and classic music back to life. Stream or download their brand-new single “Why Are You Calling Me Now?” here! 

Generation Radio is:
Jay DeMarcus: One third of the country band Rascal Flatts and Grammy-Award winning producer.

Jason Scheff: Longtime lead vocalist for the multi-platinum band Chicago from 1986 – 2017.

Steve Ferrone: Drummer for Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers

Chris Rodriguez: Chris has appeared as a session guitarist and vocalist on records by artists such as Garth Brooks, Kelly Clarkson, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Kenny Loggins, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and more!

Tom Yankton: Yankton has played alongside Rascal Flatts, Christina Aguilera, RaeLynn, Collin Raye, Chicago
