MPAC Updates
May 5, 2021

An Update From Allison Larena, President & CEO: May 5, 2021

Dear Friends,

We are excited to announce that as of May 19, we will be able to increase our seating to up to 30% of our capacity with proper social distancing.

This month is the first time our capacity has expanded since we were allowed to open for events in September.

As more people are vaccinated this spring and summer, we are hopeful that we will be allowed to continue to expand that capacity.

MPAC is fully committed to your health and safety when you attend our events. MPAC has recently been given an A+ health and safety rating by Atlantic Health for our COVID preparedness. Our auditorium circulates fresh air from outside, and the ventilation in other parts of our building has been upgraded with UV filters that effectively kill bacteria. Even though we may be able to accommodate more patrons, all groups will continue to be socially distanced from each other at a minimum of six feet. Masks will still be required as per Governor Murphy’s Executive Order.

If you haven’t been to an event inside MPAC since we reopened, you can learn more about our safety guidelines and upgrades to our Theatre here.

We are confident that our staff has prepared our facility to make that long-awaited and much-anticipated return to full capacity events safe, healthy, welcoming and entertaining.

We are currently scheduling an exciting and robust 21-22 season, and will be announcing these events soon. In the meantime, we have a great lineup of limited capacity events, the MPAC Trend Motors Drive-In Concert Series, Performing Arts School summer camps and more to keep you connected with the arts this summer!  Things are changing fast, so check you MPAC emails each week for updates and announcements.

Now is a perfect time to join as a member so that you can receive priority purchasing for next season’s events.  Join today!

As always, we thank you for your enthusiastic support of MPAC as we prepare the next act in our story.
