Health Safety Page face coverings recommended, improved ventilation, hand sanitizing stations, increased cleaning, and protective barriers

In accordance with best practices developed by the performing arts industry nationwide, we have developed a series of guidelines to make sure that your experience at MPAC will be safe and healthy. We thank you for your patience and cooperation in making your event enjoyable for all patrons!

We are here to answer any questions or address any concerns you may have.

CURRENT GUIDELINES

Help us keep each other healthy. Please follow all posted instructions while visiting MPAC. Failure to follow MPAC guidelines could result in expulsion from the theatre without a refund.

  • Proof of Vaccination And/Or Negative Test: Starting March 21, proof of vaccination will no longer be required.  Please note: vaccination check and testing protocols may be reinstated for some shows at the request of the artist or touring company, or if conditions in New Jersey warrant.
  • Face Coverings: As of March 1, MPAC will no longer require patrons to wear masks, but you are strongly encouraged to do so during your visit.
  • Improved Ventilation: We have upgraded our ventilation in the auditorium to a 100% fresh air system. That means we are constantly pulling in air from outside when heating and cooling our building.  Our air is not recirculated, making for a safer environment when sitting in the Theatre for an event. In the lobby and the box office, we’ve installed state of the art UV filters to kill germs and bacteria.
  • Health Screening: If you are unwell, please stay home. Please contact the box office in advance.
  • Reduced Contact: We offer paperless ticketing and digital program books, and have installed touchless faucets and towel dispensers in all restrooms. Our box office and concessions counters now feature plexiglass dividers.
  • Concessions: Our lobby bars are currently open and selling beverages and snacks. Concessions should be consumed only from your seat. No outside food is allowed; this includes restaurant leftovers.
  • Cleaning: All public areas and common touch points are thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis. Hand sanitizer are stationed throughout the venue.

Guidelines are subject to change at any time, and some artists may require more stringent measures for their shows. Please refer to your preshow email for the latest policies applicable to your event.

Please note that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and people with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By visiting MPAC, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
