Mayo Performing Arts Center is a renovated movie house, built in the 1930s as a part of the Walter Reade Theatre chain and transformed in 1994 into the Morristown Community Theater. Since then, MPAC has expanded exponentially with three major capital expansions and the generous support of individual donors, foundations and corporations.
We love our theater, situated within Morristown’s Historic District, and know that you do, too! Please consider one of the following opportunities that support our ongoing capital improvements.
If you would like more information on any naming opportunities throughout the Center, please call Marysue DePaola, Development Director, at 973-539-0345, extension 6503, or send an email request by clicking here.
Take “your seat in the spotlight,” and have your name or the name of someone you wish to honor or memorialize engraved on a plaque located on the armrest of a theater seat. Celebrate someone’s birthday, anniversary, or remember a loved one in this unique way, and we will acknowledge your gift to the recipient of your choice.
Price List:
Gold – $2,500 (orchestra seats GCA through T)
Silver – $1,500 (Orchestra seats U through HH, Balcony seats A through E)
Bronze – $500 (Balcony seats F through K)
Plaques are engraved metal and may include up to three lines of up to 15 characters each line, including spaces and punctuation.
Seat naming does not mean that you have that seat for events. Seat sponsors must still purchase tickets to theater events and are not guaranteed seating in chairs that bear their name.
