“The Provident Bank Foundation places a strong emphasis on educational programs for the youth in the communities served by Provident Bank,” says Jane Kurek, Executive Director of the Provident Bank Foundation. “MPAC’s Music Student of the Month program provides an opportunity to recognize talented children who not only are excellent musicians, but exemplify the qualities that will make them future leaders and role models in their communities.”
On Monday, June 9th, twenty-three Morris County middle and high school music students took over the MPAC mainstage for the annual Music Student of the Month Recital. Several hundred people were in attendance and enjoyed the many different musical styles offered including classical, jazz, contemporary and rock. Immediately following the recital, all the music students and guests were invited backstage to the Starlight Room for a special reception in their honor.
