Beethoven fans, rejoice! Xian Zhang kicks off a multi-concert tribute to Ludwig with the composer’s “Emperor” Concerto, starring phenomenal pianist and MacArthur “Genius” Fellow Jeremy Denk. The NJSO shows its virtuosity in Berlioz’s fantastic tale of thwarted love, opium dreams and witchcraft.

Join “America’s best biographer” and Pulitzer Prize-winner Ron Chernow, whose book inspired the musical hit Hamilton, as he discusses his newest biography, Grant. The Keynote Event opens the two-day Morristown Festival of Books with visits by more than 40 acclaimed authors. A full schedule of author talks and book-related events for attendees of all ages takes place from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, October 14, in downtown Morristown.
