Internships are available in: Development/Fundraising, Arts Education, Arts Management, House Management, Marketing/Public Relations and Production.

Performing Arts School Administrative Assistant

Part Time: 15-25 hours per week

Flexible daytime hours.  May include occasional evenings and/or weekends.

Accepting applications for a qualified Performing Arts School Administrative Assistant.  This administrative assistant will be required to perform a variety of administrative functions to support the Performing Arts School and Education Department. Must have advanced skills in Excel, Word, and be able to learn software that supports class registration.  Must be able to resolve challenges, communicate with parents & teachers, and prioritize workload as needed. Maintenance/Janitorial Position

MPAC is seeking a full-time janitorial and maintenance person to help maintain and clean a 1300 seat performing arts center and its grounds on a daily basis.  Must be flexible to work days/evenings/weekends or when needed.  Must be able to lift heavy boxes, and have knowledge of general facility maintenance and repairs.  Other duties necessary as needed, assistance with parking and operations, such as running errands, etc.-must have a valid driver’s license. Parking Attendant

Responsibilities include:

  • Aid patrons with parking options and directions prior to performances.
  • Familiarize yourself with Morristown’s parking options and local amenities.
  • Handle parking complaints in a positive and friendly manner and help maintain a positive experience for all patrons.
  • Collect money and be organized in doing so.


  • Good customer service skills necessary
  • Position requires being able to stand for up to four hours or more during shift.
  • Criminal background checks required.
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Familiar with handling money
