Programming Coordinator: 

The Community Theatre at Mayo Center for the Performing Arts in Morristown, NJ seeks highly motivated individual to assist the Executive Director in development of an annual programming plan and assistance with other administrative aspects of running a 1200 seat non-profit theatre as necessary. Responsibilities include researching and collecting information on possible performances, assisting with artist bookings and negotiations, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, event coordination, performance settlement and maintaining schedule for venue including main auditorium, black box theatre, gallery and other spaces.  Successful candidate will also serve as primary liaison with rental organizations and actively solicit new rentals for the theatre. Salary commensurate with experience.

Office Manager/ Bookkeeper

The Community Theatre in Morristown, NJ seeks a highly motivated Full Time Bookkeeper/Office Manager for a non-profit performing arts center. Duties to include Accounts Payable/Receivable, Bank Rec., General Ledger, Financial Statements.  Must be proficient in Excel, Word, as well as excellent computer skills.  Other office duties required.  Salary plus benefits.

Part-Time House Managers

Responsibilities include opening and closing theatre on performance days, working with volunteer usher staff, managing theatre concessions, and ensuring patron comfort and satisfaction for all performances. Evenings and weekend hours. Must be able to climb stairs and lift up to 40 pounds. Plus other duties as assigned.

Box Office Representative

Part-time position with flexible hours (Hours of operation, Monday – Saturday 10 AM – 6 PM and for performances)

Qualifications:

Good communication skills/ Outgoing personality

Computer literacy helpful

Interest and/or education in the performing arts a bonus

Past ticket sales experience a plus, but not required

Plus other duties as assigned.

Subscription orders are currently being taken.

There are two main subscription plans

A “Create Your Own Subscription” involves purchasing tickets to four or more performances at once.

The “Family Subscription” involves ticket purchases amongst Sunday Kids Club (shows for children 10 and under), Garden State Spotlight performances and events from the Wonder Series category.
