One of the most hauntingly lovely episodes in classical ballet. Also to be performed: "The Life and Death of Spartacus," re-created by Konstantin Dournev, the story of a slave uprising vs. the mighty Roman Empire.

Updated news! Jose Carreno, Cuban-born star of American Ballet Theatre will do a guest turn with the company. He will perform Black Swan pas de deux from Swan Lake with NJB principal Saule Rachmedova.

With stunning artistry, passion and creativity, New Jersey Ballet performs powerful and dramatic interpretations of the greatest works created for dance that touch the spirit and inspire the soul.

The Company makes the charm of dance accessible to over 150,000 (live and through media) New Jerseyans every year and maintains a repertory of exceptional breadth and quality. It's reputation for artistic excellence has attracted a considerable number of major dance works which have been premiered in New Jersey. During its 30-week season, New Jersey Ballet performs works ranging from classical, to contemporary, to cutting-edge, as well as those geared especially for young audiences.

Its repertory includes works choreographed by some of the greatest names in the world of dance - Balanchine, deMille, Tudor, Nebrada, North, Pourfarrokh, Taras, Sappington, Renvall, Tomal, Vernon, Vesak, Petipa, Chabukiany, Saint Leon, and Bournonville.

Subscription orders for 08-09 season begin in June.

There are two main subscription plans

A "Create Your Own Subscription" involves purchasing tickets to four or
more performances at once.

The "Family Subscription" involves ticket purchases amongst Sunday Kids
Club (shows for children 10 and under), Garden State Spotlight performances and events from the Wonder Series category.
