Stand-up comedy from Last Comic Standing’s Season 2, 3, and 5 victors: John Heffron, Alonzo Bodden and Jon Reep (“The Hemi Guy”).

Background:
John Heffron: Season two winner of NBC’s hit reality series “Last Comic Standing,” comedian John Heffron has become the comic to watch and love. This Detroit funnyman won the competition, as well as a talent contract and other great opportunities. When asked about his experience on the show, John said “It’s a lot like high school… there are good and bad memories, in the end, I think I will only remember the good ones.” The newly married 33-year-old comic is already seeing the payoffs, recently nabbing a development deal with ABC for his own sitcom. John’s half hour Comedy Central special “Comedy Central Presents: John Heffron” is played frequently on the network. John also recently released his third comedy CD The Better Half which is available on ITunes and Amazon.

Jon Reep: Jon is known to millions as the loveable redheaded redneck in the Dodge Ram commercials who leans out of a beat-up car and utters the now famous line: “That thing gotta Hemi?” But before that, he was already one of the funniest comics in America, selling out clubs and getting standing ovations at college after college across the country. His show is supersonic energy filled with non-stop characters, dead-on impressions, super clever writing, and, of course, one talent that separates Jon from all other comedians in the world--he’s the best redneck dancer since Elvis.

Alonzo Bodden: After placing as runner-up on Season 2 of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, he came back strong in Season 3 to take the grand prize. In 2007, he went on to become a series regular judge on Season 5 of the show. His movie roles include parts in Scary Movie 4, Bringing Down the House, and The Girl Next Door. On television, he has played a bouncer/crook/security guard/cop on Angel, Grounded for Life, and Profiler. He is currently a regular field correspondent on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and back on Last Comic Standing as a celebrity judge. Alonzo describes his material as “cynically good natured in an angry suburban Negro kind of way.” While he strongly believes that all young comics should study Bill Cosby, he freely admits that his mom is the funniest person he knows. When his family and friends attend his shows he loves and appreciates it.
