Comics trade in their stand-up for storytelling! If you are a fan of "This American Life" or "The Moth," you'll enjoy our long-form storytelling series, featuring works by comics, under the direction of Maureen Langan.

Featuring: Jane Condon, Kambri Crews, Andy Christie, Bonnie Levison and Greg Walloch

Tell your own story! Enter to perform at the door. We'll choose one storyteller at random to go on stage and give it a try!

Comedian and storyteller Jane Condon won Audience Favorite (NY) on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.” She has also appeared on the “The View,” “24,” and “The Today Show.” The Associated Press calls her “an uppercrust Roseanne.” Her acclaimed one-person Off-Broadway show is called “Janie Condon: Raw & Unchained!” She was the 2011 commencement speaker at Wellesley College. Check her out at www.janecondon.com

Kambri Crews once lived with her deaf parents in a tin shed in Montgomery, Texas. She now runs her own PR and production company in New York City. Her memoir Burn Down the Ground (Random House) will be published on February 28, 2012, and is available for pre-order. A renowned storyteller and public speaker, Kambri has performed on The Moth’s Mainstage, The 92Y, UCB Theatre, Gotham Comedy Club and given speeches at SXSW and DeafHope and many other schools, venues and events.

Andy Christie's writing has appeared in The New York Times and in the Thomas Beller anthology, Lost And Found: Stories From New York. His humor book, "I Wasn't Kidding" was published by Random House/Ballantine here and in the United Kingdom. Consequently his work can be found on remainder shelves spanning two continents. He has told his true stories on WFUV's Cityscape, The Moth Mainstage, and Public Radio's Peabody Award-winning "The Moth Radio Hour." He is the creator and host of The Liar Show. www.TheLiarShow.com

Bonnie Levison is a storytelling instructor with The Moth, the country's leading storytelling organization, and works across the country in their outreach and corporate programs.  She has been a storyteller on the Moth MainStage and Story Slams.  She performs stand up comedy and founded the Nantucket Comedy Festival.  She produces and hosts a variety of comedy and storytelling events.  She lives in Connecticut with her 3 children. Her parents are not quite sure why they paid for her to go to Business School.

Like the best transgressive artists Greg Walloch uses humor to expose cultural and social fault lines. He has appeared on everything from The Howard Stern Show to Kurt Andersen's Studio 360 on Public Radio International.  Greg recently appeared with The Moth in USA Network's Characters Unite national tour with sold out engagements at Seattle Center's Marion Oliver McCaw Hall, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, and at the Newseum in Washington, DC featuring Christopher Gorham, Forest Whitaker, Meghan McCain, Greg Walloch, Kevin Jacobsen and Jeffery Rudell. www.GregWalloch.com
