Broadway Kids (ages 7-10)
Session I: July 18 – July 22, 2011
Session II: July 25 – July 29, 2011
Weekdays: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Cost: $325.00 per session
Broadway Kids focuses on learning the basics of acting, vocal technique, theatrical movement and dance, and working as an ensemble. During this one-week program, students rehearse a shortened version of a popular musical to present to family and friends on the last day of their session.
Musical Theatre Workshop (ages 10-15)
Session I: June 30 – July 16, 2011 (no class on July 1st and 4th)
Weekdays: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Cost: $575.00
In Professional Musical Theatre Workshop, students work on honing and building on the basics of musical theatre. There is a focus on not only ensemble performance but also on working in smaller groups and solo. These students rehearse for a professional quality performance incorporating songs and scenes from all styles of musical theatre.
New!!! 3 Week Summer Teen Musical Theatre Conservatory Program (ages 14-18)
Session I: July 25th – August 12, 2011
Weekdays: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Cost: $800.00
Mornings will be spent in the conservatory training program. Afternoons will be spent rehearsing a Main Stage production to be presented during the final week. Come and experience a true summer stock rehearsal process while working with professional teachers and directors! Former PAS students admitted by permission only. New students will be required to audition. Please contact PAS for more info.
New!!! Summer Actor’s Workshop (ages 9-15)

Weekdays: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Cost: $325.00
If you act but you’re not interested in a musical theatre program, then this is for you! Work on acting skills, character development and improvisation in a fun and creative atmosphere. Work toward an end of week performance.
What We Do:
Our comprehensive program is designed for students of all experience levels and focuses on individualizing each session to the specific participants.
Students spend their day taking classes in acting, singing, and dancing and rehearsing for a final fully-stage performance on our Community Theatre stage!

Who We Are:
The Community Theatre’s Performing Arts School teachers are all experienced teaching artists and industry professionals from the New York/New Jersey area. They hold undergraduate and graduate degrees in Theatre Arts, Music, Dance, Musical Theatre, and Education.
