Background:
Garrison Keillor is an author, storyteller, performance artist, post and comedian. In addition to the many books he has written he can be heard on NPR's talk radio and has also recorded numerous audio cassettes (amazon.com has an impressive list of 115 available works that Garrison Keillor wrote, recorded, or contributed to). Since he is still working the list is sure to grow. Many of Garrison Kiellor's books can be found on audio along with recordings of his radio shows "A Prairie Home Companion" and "American Radio Company." Keillor's voice has a wonderful presence and his great delivery definitely adds a lot of humor to his work. In addition to his own work Keillor can be heard reading old favorites such as Mark Twain's "Huckleberry Finn." His books range from fictional stories that lean strongly towards autobiographical accounts of his own life, to children's books and he lends his quirky sense of humor to them all.
